CRPRA
meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month,
September through May, from 11:30 a.m. until
1:00 p.m. at the Clark Alumni House, Coe College (unless
otherwise noted).
Meetings consist of informal
networking and dining followed by informative and interesting
guest speakers who discuss
topics that directly impact the public relations field,
including new trends and best practices.
At
the end of the meal, but prior to the guest speaker's
presentation, attendees are invited to introduce themselves
and state the name of the business or organization with which
they are associated. Attendees may also provide very
brief
information regarding an non-profit event their organization is holding or
sponsoring. This is not intended to be
a time for business promotions. Due to the number of people in attendance
and the short amount of time available,
all attendees
are asked
to keep their comments very brief. Businesses providing
door-prizes are invited to speak briefly
about the item they are donating, when door-prize winners are
announced.
The cost for these meetings is $15.00, payable by check at
the door. The fee is the same, whether or not you
choose to eat the meal provided.
Reservations are due
no later
than Noon on the Friday prior to the meeting.
No-shows will
be billed unless they
cancel by 5 pm the day before the meeting.
There is no membership fee to be a part of CRPRA!
You pay only for the meetings you plan to attend.
